Decent product, I didn't notice it would not work with any version 64bit operating system so it went back.
Wounld not work for video transfur as it stated it would. Very disapointed. The range was much less then the 30 feet advertized.
It is useless on a 64 bit system. Now I have to either find the receipt to return this or sell it used. I bought this months ago for my laptop it worked mostly good, I just upgraded to a new 64 bit Vista laptop the software will not even install on my new computer. I contacted the support and they said they do not have a 64 bit driver for this.
Almost all new computers come with Windows 7 64-bit pre-installed, but this device will not work with Windows 7, or any 64-bit OS. Why are they still selling this device. This device could be the poster child for stronger consumer protection regulations. IOGear should be required to recall these devices and refund the buyer's $$$. This is the closest thing I've come to an electronic version of snake oil. Even when using it with XP Pro 32-bit, the connection is very poor - nearly useless.How does a company get away with selling crap like this.
I moved the hub to a location where the screen is not between them and it seems better.When it is working it is fast and reliable, but the range is not as good as I had expected. I got an email answer two days later and it said to change my screen resolution which I had already tried without success.In the meantime I had just hit "TAB" then "ENTER" to get by that problem.Once it was installed it worked well until I turned my laptop such that the screen was between the USB antenna on the laptop and the hub. When I attempted to install the software and drivers one of the menus had the "NEXT" button outside the box and it would not scroll. I went to the support page and submitted a help request. They are about 6' apart but the reception is spotty and intermittent.
